MPD: Ride service driver punched in the face near Juneau and Broadway

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --- Milwaukee police say a ride service driver was punched in the face near Juneau and Broadway Sunday, April 18.

Police say both individuals were cited after investigating the battery incident. It happened shortly after 2 a.m.

Officers were flagged down for a trouble with a subject and found two individuals were involved in an argument and allegedly struck each other.

Police say medical attention was provided for one of the individuals that complained of pain. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office against the suspect that struck the ride service driver.
