MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are conducting an investigation after an officer and suspect exchanged gunfire Sunday afternoon around 12:50 p.m. near 36th and Meinecke.
Police say they are investigating the incident as a reckless endangerment of safety.
MPD officers were chasing a suspect driving recklessly when the suspect got out of the car and fired at officers. One officer returned fire before arresting the suspect.
No one was hit by any of the gunfire.
