Milwaukee's first cat cafe celebrates 100 adoptions

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Sip & Purr, Milwaukee's first cat cafe, is celebrating 100 adoptions.

In less than 5 months, the cafe has helped 100 homeless cats find their fur-ever homes.

Sip & Purr partners exclusively with Lakeland Animal Shelter of Delevan, WI to provide adoptable cats. All cats arrive at Sip & Purr ready for adoption, which means they are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations and medical tests.

Sip & Purr provides a temporary home to about 20 adoptable cats at a time. All of the cats live in a free roaming, cageless environment where they are able to greet potential adopters six days a week.

Sip & Purr is open six days a week. For guaranteed kitty cuddle time, guests are encouraged to make a reservation for the Cat Lounge prior to their visit. Information about reservations, special events, café menu, and current adoptable cats can be found by clicking here.
