MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors reported a decline in September home sales, shedding light on the state of the local housing market.
Angela Walters, the board's 2023 Chairperson, joined us to discuss the report on Monday, Oct. 16.
According to the released data, September home sales fell 19% compared to the same month last year.
Walters advised that for first-time buyers, down payments typically range from 3-5%. As for loan options, various mortgage types may suit different buyer needs. She also reminded buyers to for extra costs beyond the home's sticker price.
