Marquette wins season tune-up at home

Marquette's Golden Eagles received 16 points and 17 rebounds from Henry Ellenson in a 98-57 blowout of Valley City State Monday night in an exhibition game at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
MU shot 61% from the floor for the game and scored 55 points after halftime in the tune-up for the regular season, which starts Friday against Belmont. Sandy Cohen III added 16 points for the Golden Eagles, and Haanif Cheatham scored 15 in 25 minutes.
