WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A man is sentenced to 25 years in prison for a deadly drunk driving crash in 2017.
Frank Schiller, 38, was driving under the influence when he hit and killed Peter Enns who had stopped to help a family change a tire on I-94. Enns was from Canada and at Friday's hearing, his widow Anna spoke by telephone to the court.
"There are some things in life which cannot be told, only experienced. And me losing my husband, the children, their father, is one of those things. And in this case, it could have been prevented."
Schiller also spoke before he was sentenced. He was apologized for destroying lives, asked for forgiveness and asked people not to consider him a "hardened criminal."
