MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Some Milwaukee students go the chance to get into some holiday spirit.Â
Local nonprofit Arts @ Large brought school children together to make ornaments for a city display.Â
They put them up on the Christmas tree at the Milwaukee County Courthouse.Â
County Executive David Crowley was at the school Wednesday, Nov. 19, he explained how outreach events like this can encourage the community to support Milwaukee's young students.Â
"I think it really brings out the resilience and the partnership - that spirit of partnership that we have here within Milwaukee County," said Crowley.
Those ornaments will be up for you to see at the courthouse in about two weeks.Â
