SHOREWOOD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- If you live in Shorewood, Friday was racing day - that's bicycle racing.

They held the 22nd annual 'Shorewood Criterium Classic' on the streets of North Shore Community.

This is a full day of two-wheel distance racing on a course of about one mile, with races divided into age groups from kids to seniors. They'll be racing until just about dark Friday night, June 26.

The Shorewood Criterium is part of an 11-day series of bike races called the "Tour of America's Dairyland," and there are racers from all over the world that show up to compete.

Bill Koch, from the Tour of America's Dairyland showed us the Shorewood Trophy, which is made locally.

"But in addition to this, winners get cheese wheels, they get chocolate milk, they get coffee from Colectivo," said Koch. "They get all kinds of stuff for being up there on the podium and spending anywhere from 6 to 11 days with us."

This has turned into a family event, with a kid's bike decoration station, free Culver's custard and new this year, a food truck court!

Don't be surprised if you're driving to Shorewood to streets blocked off!
