Kenosha Schools Ask Students to Stop Spreading False Clown Threats

In a Facebook post the Kenosha Unified School District says they are aware of posts on social media regarding threats of clowns in Kenosha. The school says that Kenosha Police has investigated the threats and found no viable local threats.

Anyone with concerns with the threats of clowns is encouraged to call Kenosha Police for details and information.

Kenosha Schools are asking parents to tell their children to stop spreading false rumors that can cause unnecessary panic, "making threats against students, staff or schools is not a joking matter and individuals may face fines and/or imprisonment for their actions, whether intentional or not."
