His alma mater is known for some outstanding graduates like pioneering newswoman Nancy Dickerson and Badgers basketball standout Devin Harris. Now Scahill has joined them on the school’s Wall of Inspiration.
Scahill is a journalist who co-founded The Intercept with fellow reporter Glenn Greenwald. The Intercept is known for publishing and subsequently covering the release of classified documents revealed by former NSA analyst Edward Snowden.
CBS 58’s Mike Curkov sat down with the best-selling author to reflect on journalism and his Wisconsin roots.
