KENOSHA (CBS 58) – The Spring snowfall is covering Wisconsin, Kenosha is one of the hardest hit counties in our area.
Kenosha picked up four inches of snow total Saturday, but the Spring snowfall is not welcome to many.
“It’s cold, we’re used to it, but it sucks,” Driver Megan Trentacosta said.
The last time it snowed this late in the season was in 1994. Months of winter weather is putting some on edge.
“I hate it. I can’t stand it," Driver Carmen Andrea said. "I’m on the verge of snapping."
Road conditions are slushy Saturday night, Kenosha DPW tells CBS 58 that’s because the pavement isn’t cold enough for it to freeze. But, as temperatures are expected to drop, crews will be closely monitoring conditions and are prepared to salt the roads as needed.
Drivers are patiently waiting for it to truly feel like Spring weather.
“I know Wisconsin weather will always turn around and it always gets better eventually,” Driver Andrew Wawiorka said.
