MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Hunger Task Force’s annual holiday food drive campaign, Food For Families, kicks off on Monday. The campaign, sponsored by Johnson Controls, aims to collect food and funds to help Milwaukee families throughout the holiday season.
This year, the Hunger Task Force is requesting donations of three specific foods:
-Low sodium green beans
-Low sugar breakfast cereal
-Canned tuna or chicken
Food For Families runs from October 1-December 31. More information on the food drive can be found on the Hunger Task Force’s website.
