Higuera headed for Miller Park Walk Of Fame

Brewers great Teddy Higuera is receiving another high honor from the franchise with his induction into the Miller Park Walk Of Fame later this summer.

Higuera was the top vote getter on this year's ballot, which includes Brewers and Braves players. He received 78 percent of the vote; 65 percent is needed for induction.

The lefthander won 53 games in his first three years with the Brewers, including 20 in 1986. Injuries stopped Higuera's career early, but he still finished with 94 wins and 1,081 strikeouts, both third in Brewers franchise history.

The induction ceremony takes place Friday, August 14th.
