Fourth of July fatal motorcycle accident in Milwaukee leaves 1 dead, 1 in custody

MILWAUKEE, (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Medical Examiner's Office has identified the victim as 29-year-old Deshay Brown. 


MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) - Milwaukee police say a 29-year-old is dead, and a 31-year-old is in custody after a car collided with a motorcycle on Saturday, July 4th, just after 10p.m., near the intersection of E. Locust St. and N. Booth St.

The 31-year-old driver of the car was driving down W. Booth St. when it hit a motorcycle driving on W. Locust St.

Despite lifesaving efforts, the driver of the motorcycle died on scene. Police took the driver of the car into custody.

Milwaukee police say this is still an active investigation, and charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
