Fight turns deadly in McDonald's drive-thru near 25th & National

MILWAUKEE -- A fight between friends turned deadly in a McDonald's drive-thru near 25th and National.
Milwaukee police say a 29-year-old Milwaukee man and 26-year-old Burlington man were in a car together in the drive-thru just after 1:30 a.m. when they started arguing. Both of them got out of the car at one point and started throwing punches.
Investigators say the 26-year-old man got back into the car and started to drive away when the 29-year-old jumped in front of the car.
The man was run over and died at the scene. The driver remains in custody as police investigate.
