Fight breaks out on North Avenue during reported influencer event

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A group of people appeared to be brawling in the street on North Avenue in Milwaukee, according to video captured Monday night, July 21.

A person at the scene said the incident was connected to the Influencer City Tour, an event that has drawn large crowds in other cities.

The Milwaukee Fire Department confirmed that at least one person was taken to the hospital from the scene. Officials have not released information on the extent of that person’s injuries.

As of Tuesday, July 22, Milwaukee police have not confirmed whether any arrests were made or whether additional people were hurt. Calls to law enforcement for more details were not immediately returned.
