BAYSIDE, Wis. (CBS 58) – Dozens of employees from Miller Brewing teamed up with the Southeastern Wisconsin Watershed Trust and the Village of Bayside to clean up Fish Creek.
On Friday, volunteers helped remove log jams, debris, garbage and invasive species at two locations on the creek.
“We want to make sure that we are taking care of the waterways in Milwaukee and giving back to Milwaukee in a meaningful way,” Tami Garrison with MillerCoors said. “Water is a critically important ingredient for our great beers, so we want to make sure that we take care of the water resources that we have in our communities.”
This is the 10th year Miller employees have worked in the community to promote water stewardship activities.
