PLYMOUTH, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Plymouth, billed by some as the "Cheese Capital of the World," is hosting the Fourth Annual Cheese Capital Festival on Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27.
Portia Young of Sargento joined us Wednesday, June 17 to preview the event.
Friday night features a Road America Trans Am Series car procession. Saturday's schedule includes a cheese-themed parade at 10 a.m., a cheese-eating contest and live music. A foam cheese wedge race in the Mullet River offers a $1,000 grand prize. Family activities include face painting, a balloon artist, a cow petting zoo and a farm-themed playground.
Parking is available on Plymouth city streets along and north of Mill Street. Click here for more information.
