FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Celebrity golfers braved the rain to hit the course to support a good cause. It was for the 48th annual MACC Fund Open at Tuckaway Country Club in Franklin.
The event, presented by ZT Distribution, benefits the MACC Fund.
CBS 58's Mike Curkov and Scott Grodsky were there to help fight against childhood cancer and related blood disorders.
The event is the longest-standing MACC Fund event and so far they've raised over $2.2 million.
"I guess I look at today and I look at a really tough day out on the golf course and there's going to be some people who drop certainly, but I think that everyone understands that the kids...the one were trying to serve here they go through a lot worse than this type of stuff so it's cool to see everyone tough it out and come together for a greater good," said Michael Bielawski, director of development for the MACC Fund.
