WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) – Milwaukee’s CBS affiliate WDJT-TV reached a milestone moment this month. Thursday, March 18th marked the 25th anniversary of the first CBS 58 newscast.
Some 15 months after a local channel realignment brought the CBS affiliation to then little-known UHF TV 58, Weigel Broadcasting's WDJT moved into a former Allis-Chalmers manufacturing facility on the border between West Allis and Milwaukee.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Mike Strehlow shared some history of the southeast Wisconsin station.
