Burning Yard Waste Causes Brush Fire in Delavan

On Sunday, February 19 at 2:02 PM City of Delavan emergency services were dispatched to an out of control brush fire on Creekside Drive. The fire was caused by a small pile of burning yard waste.
Police would like to remind citizens that even though it's warm it is prohibited to burn yard waste this time of year.
