Bucks draft Bogoljub Markovic in second round🏀

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) - The Milwaukee Bucks have made their long-awaited pick in this year's NBA Draft. 

The Bucks took Bogoljub Markovic from Serbia in the second round with their lone selection at 47th overall. 

Markovic will turn 20 years old next month. He is 6-11 and spent last year playing for Serbia's Mega Basket averaging 13.7 points per game and 37% shooting on 2.7 attempts per game according to Basketball Reference. 

ESPN's Jonathan Givony said on tonight's broadcast of the draft, he expects Markovic to be stashed overseas and come to the Bucks next season.  

This is one of the Bucks first offseason moves ahead of a very important summer. NBA Free agency negotiated period starts on June 30th, with deals becoming official on July 6th.
