Brown Deer 17-year-old questioned by police for $253 worth of overdue library items

On Thursday, the Brown Deer Library reported to police that a 17-year-old girl was overdue $253 worth of items. Several letters to the woman had been returned to the sender.
An officer made contact with the girl at her house and she told police she would return the items by the end of the day.
