ArchWell Health is opening two new facilities in both the Harambee and Mitchell West neighborhoods.
To celebrate, a ribbon cutting event was held at the Harambee location.
Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson was there and believes this center will provide strong, personalized care to its residents.
"Seniors have done so much in their time building up our community. You shared your wisdom, you have worked hard, you have raised families, you're taking care of the people who are around you," said Mayor Johnson. "Now it's time to make sure that you have access, that you have the opportunity, that you have the care you not only need but deserve."
ArchWell Health has more than 80 centers across the country and the Mitchell West center -- located at 2730 N. Martin Luther King Dr. -- will be opening Thursday, April 30.
