MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- If you've been out and about around the downtown Milwaukee area, chances are you may have run into someone wearing a Northwestern Mutual lanyard. It's because thousands of employees from across the country are in town for Northwestern Mutual's annual meeting.
The event is held every year in Milwaukee and offers employees the chance to network with one another and celebrate the company's accomplishments.
CBS 58 caught up with an employee from Alabama that had nothing but good things to say about his visit to the Cream City.
"I love it in the summer, it's beautiful, you know there's plenty of opportunity to hang out with friends that I don't get to see," said Nisu Patel Explore the city, be outside, enjoy the weather, see all the events that are going on around the lakefront and things like that, so you know that and all the amazing food, restaurants, bars, I mean the city is amazing."
The annual meeting will run through Wednesday at Fiserv Forum.
