The much needed steady rain and storms have push out of the area, but not before dropping .50-2.50" of rain!
We'll have some dry time mid to late morning before additional spotty showers and storms redevelop this afternoon. Not everyone will see these storms, but those that do can expect a good downpour. These will dissipate around sunset.
It'll also become rather humid this afternoon as dew points rise into the upper 60s. Thankfully this humidity won't be around for long as a cold front will bring lower dew points in tonight.
Places that see peeks of sun this afternoon will make a run at 80 degrees, but a northeast wind on Friday will drop temps back into the mid 70s. The warmth and humidity won't stay away for long, though. Both will increase Sunday and Monday, which will also coincide with our next chances for storms.
