On Sunday July 2 at approximately 3:38 AM the Walworth County Sheriff's Office received a report of a vehicle roll over crash on its roof with unknown injuries in the area of W6755 Willow Bend Road, in Walworth.  

When officials arrived they found a silver 2007 Chevrolet Silverado on its roof with severe damage and an unresponsive man with severe injuries inside. This man was the only person in the vehicle.

The initial investigation shows that the car was driving east on Willow Bend Road when it left the road, hit a tree, and rolled over. The driver identified as 19-year-old Jacob Steven Sherwin from Walworth was pronounced dead on scene. 

Speed and not wearing a seat belt are contributing factors to the crash.
