19-year-old in critical condition after flipping car off I-794
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 19-year-old man suffered a head injury and remains in critical condition after crashing on I-794 Saturday, Oct. 31.
Officials say it happened around 7:45 a.m. MCSO deputies responded to a one-car car that happened southbound on I-794 at Pennsylvania Avenue.
Police say the car flipped off the freeway and landed in the parking lot of EZ Storage.
The 19-year-old driver was ejected from the car and was discovered unconscious when deputies arrived. The victim sustained head injuries and was transported by Flight For Life to a local hospital where officials say he remains in critical condition.
The southbound lanes were closed at 7:55 a.m. All lanes were reopened at 11 a.m.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
