MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--The year is just about half over, but our storm chance is just beginning for the next 5-7 days. Sunday there's the chance, especially into the evening. Monday runs the risk as well. First early in the day with a passage of a front and then later in the day and into the evening with an upper air feature. We also have the chance for a few pop-up showers and storms for midweek and then we quiet down again until the holiday weekend (after the 4th itself.) More scattered showers and storms could impact your plans. Hope it won't be all day. It'll be the last weekend for Summerfest as well. Highs will be mainly in the 80s with lows in the 60s and 70s. The one warm day will be on Sunday with highs in the 90s and higher heat index values. An average high this time of year is in the low 80s.
Our in-house computer model has storms firing up earlier in the day. If they do, make sure to head indoors as fast as you can...
