Mequon (CBS 58)--A 4-year old Oak Creek boy with a blood disease has one wish...to go to Disney World. And if all goes according to plan, he'll make the trip this spring despite his life-threatening illness. On Saturday, there's a fundraiser to help little Eli and his family at the Burn Boot Camp in both Menomonee Falls and Mequon. The fitness trainers are the ones who have to do different exercise routines at the request of the person donating the money. The hope is to raise at least several thousand dollars.
"Burn 4 Wishes" is put on by the non-profit group "Maggie's Angels" out of Hartland. The fundraiser runs between 10:30 am and 1 pm. But you don't have to be present to make a donation. The event will be on Facebook Live. Use the app "Venmo" then search Maggies Angels to donate money. There will also be free boot camp classes at both 8 and 9 am.
