If you live in and around Wauwatosa, here's some exciting news.
The Wisconsin Avenue Bridge over I-41 is back open to traffic.
That bridge had been closed for a long time for reconstruction and a lot of the drivers who usually used it turned to already-busy Bluemound Road as an alternate route.
"Bluemound had horrible traffic the entire time that this was shut down so usually, we'd try to cut through the Medical College and go around even if it meant a longer route, just because Bluemound was so congested usually."
But now both Wisconsin Avenue and Bluemound Road are available to drivers, just in time for the Memorial Day weekend.
