WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) – A detached garage is completely destroyed after a fire in West Allis early Tuesday morning.
Authorities say a car inside of the garage is totaled. A garage next to the one that caught fire sustained damage. Other cars near the garage were also damaged.
The fire reached downed power lines, making it more difficult to get water to the alley where the garage is located. WE Energies was called to the scene to work on the downed lines.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
