WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Rival Waukesha communities are coming together to help a girl in need.
South High School is hosting youth night as part of their basketball doubleheader against Waukesha North.
On Tuesday, Dec. 17, they're raising money to support 11-year-old Mycajah from Jackson. She has a heart condition and a wish to go to a Disney-themed resort in Hawaii. The school is collecting donations all night.
There will be a special presentation at 7 p.m. before the varsity boys game.
"We're gonna have a donation box," said Bo Richter, Waukesha South boys basketball coach. "You can donate any amount that you would like to for Make A Wish. And then we put a star up on all these, the wall over here, and all these doors. We'll have a 50-50 raffle. Half the amount goes to Make A Wish, and half the amount goes to the winner."
