Waterford Bus Driver will Serve No Jail Time for Being High While Driving Kids

The bus driver who admitted to being high on prescription drugs before driving a bus full of kids into a cornfield was back in court Friday morning.

Jason Stalbaum was arrested last October for OWI and first degree reckless endangerment in Waterford.

Earlier in May, the prosecution said it didn't have enough evidence to give him anything more than a traffic ticket.

He did however plead guilty to traffic violations.

He changed his plea to no contest on reckless driving charges.

Stalbaum will lose his commercial drivers license pay a fine and have 6 points deducted from his license but he will serve no jail time.
