Village of Pewaukee passes ordinance to fine teens who 'sext'

PEWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The village of Pewaukee is cracking down on teenagers who 'sext.'

Leaders passed an ordinance that imposes steep fines on anyone who gets caught.

The first offense is $400, and the second is more than $600.

Village President Jeff Knutson says they're trying to prevent teens from sharing revealing pictures and being labeled as sexual predators.
