Streak of 60s for highs continues another day with a soaking rain on the way

Milwaukee and Racine were the only locations on our temperature map to not hit 70 degrees Monday staying at 69. The lake breeze kept those locations cooler while others got into the mid 70s. 

Milwaukee has now reached 13 days in a row with highs staying in the 60s. The last time we were in the 70s or warmer was back on September 15th. 

Our streak of 60s for highs likely ends on Tuesday with a good chance for highs reaching the 70s, especially if we can get some sunshine lingering into the afternoon and the wind stays away from the lake breeze. Highs stay in the upper 60s to around 70 through Thursday but another round of cooler weather in the 60s is on the way starting for the end of the week. 

Most of the day Tuesday stays dry but by the evening hours we could see some isolated showers. The better rain chance arrives closer to midnight Tuesday night with some downpours and scattered showers likely through Wednesday morning. Some areas may see scattered showers continuing throughout the day Wednesday but others, especially northern counties, could get some longer dry breaks. 

More scattered showers look likely on Thursday, especially in southern counties. By the time the rain ends Thursday night some areas could pick up 1-2" of rain. We aren't worried too much about flooding concerns since the rain will come over the course of 48+ hours.
