UWM Panthers focus on academics

When the UWM Men's Basketball team was disqualified from tournament play in 2015, due to low APR scores, Senior Steve McWhorter was faced with a decision.
Remaining the Panthers' Point Guard, he would not see another NCAA tournament.
Leaving for another school, he said, would mean abandoning his team and family.
Family was Steve's prerogative, and he made his senior year count for himself and his teammates.
