Transit Union wants new Transit Hubs installed throughout Milwaukee

A press conference was held outside of Milwaukee County Courthouse on October 14 by the Bus Drivers Union.

Transit workers and their customers want Milwaukee County to restore transit funding.

Members of the Transit Union want to use this funding to improve running times on the red, blue, and purple express routes.

They also want to see transit hubs installed across Milwaukee County.

These hubs would give riders a place to wait indoors during the winter months.

Riders we spoke with say they wait as long as 30-45 minutes outside during freezing conditions and they don't think that's acceptable.
