MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Summer activities often lead to increased expenses, that according to financial professional Tony Drake from Drake & Associates. He joined us on Tuesday, June 18 to discuss how travel, outdoor events and children's activities contribute to higher costs.
He suggested planning a budget, using cash over credit cards and keeping an eye out for free activities. Drake also emphasized monitoring finances to avoid missed payments and fraud.
He encouraged saving for emergencies and retirement, likening future financial security to the ultimate summer vacation.
