The dangers of detergent "pods"

Single use laundry packs are convenient but they pose a serious hazard to young children, that's the finding of a study published Monday in the journal \"Pediatrics.\" According to data from the national poison center, the \"pods\" sent an average of one child a day to hospitals across the country in 2012 and 2013.

During those two years, poison control centers took more than 17,000 calls. Researchers say the pods are colorful and look like candy or juice to young children.

They conclude that increased efforts are needed to prevent little kids from having access to the product
