Suspects flee scene after fatal crash in Milwaukee

Police are looking for four male suspects who fled the scene of a fatal crash near 76th and Silver Spring Friday night.

The accident happened around 10:30 pm when a 2001 Audi Station Wagon traveling at a high rate of speed struck a 2006 Chevy Cobalt.

Police said that early investigation indicates that the Audi ran a red light.

The 25-year-old male passenger in the Chevy Cobalt died on the scene despite life saving efforts by the Milwaukee Fire Department.

The 26-year-old female driver was taken to a hospital to be treated for what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

The four male occupants of the Audi, all believed to be in their 20's, fled the scene on foot before police arrived.

The accident is still under investigation.
