State Representative Bill Kramer's lawyer speaks out

Waukesha - Jim Gatzke is State Representative Bill Kramer's attorney. Kramer has been charged with sexual assaulting a woman three years ago in Muskego. Gatzke is demanding that sensitive information in Kramer's case be protected. Kramer had also been accused of sexual harassment on at least two occasions before he was charged with sexual assault.


The Wisconsin State Assembly has advised Kramer to resign effective immediately. Governor Scott Walker has also stated that based on the allegations, Kramer should resign from his position. Kramer said he will not run for reelection when his term expires in November. However, he also stated he will not resign from his position. Kramer's initial court hearing is scheduled for April 14th in Waukesha County.
