Sledding Hills busy in Milwaukee County, Whitnall Park warming house open for business

MILWAUKEE COUNTY, (CBS 58) -- Sledding hills all across Milwaukee County are open for business. According to the Milwaukee County parks, the Whitnall Park Golf Clubhouse will transform into a warming house for sledders, snowshoers and cross-country skiers.

The Whitnall Sledding Hill is lit for nighttime use and cross-country skis and snowshoes can be rented in the clubhouse at a cost. There is a fire, hot chocolate and snacks for warming up.

The warming house will be open Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Martin Luther King Jr. Day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Milwaukee County has two other lighted sledding hills at Currie Park located at 3535 N. Mayfair Road and Humboldt Park located at 3000 S. Howell Avenue.
