Seven drunk drivers arrested during Operation Drive Sober patrols

MILWAUKEE COUNTY—The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office arrested seven drunk drivers in its Operation Drive Sober patrols this weekend including two repeat offenders.

Deputies said that 54-year-old David Cashmore drove through barricades into a closed off section of Watertown Plank Road Friday night.

Deputies said that his blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit and he had cocaine in his pocket.

He was arrested for his third OWI.

27-year-old Brian Bigley was arrested for his second OWI just after midnight Sunday.

Deputies said that he refused to voluntarily submit to a PBT or blood draw.

The other five drunk drivers arrested were all first time offenders.
