Senator Tammy Baldwin submits question at impeachment trial

WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- For a second and final day at the impeachment trial, the two sides in the case are taking questions from Senators.

Wisconsin Democrat Tammy Baldwin had her question read to the House impeachment managers.

She asked what witnesses could tell the Senate "the exact date the president ordered a hold on security assistance to Ukraine."

The answer was in part:

"We believe that there is a tremendous amount of material out there in the form of email, text messages, conversation and witness testimony that could shed additional light on that, including an email from last summer from Mr. Bolton and Mr. Blair where we know from witness testimony this issue was discussed."

You can listen to the entire response below.
