WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The recipe for one of America’s favorite treats first appeared on boxes of Rice Krispies cereal back in 1941. Five years ago, a group of students at UW-Madison set a new world record by creating an 11,000 pound Rice Krispie treat.
Now, as Cearron Bagenda showed on CBS 58 Sunday Morning, a local couple is finding success offering a gourmet version of this gooey and buttery marshmallow delight.
Even though the gourmet rice crispies shop is open for business, you can still order "Carrie's Crispies" online by clicking here.
