MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A ribbon cutting was held on Tuesday, September 8 to mark the official opening of the BMO Tower in Milwaukee.
The 25-story building will serve as the company’s Wisconsin headquarters. It is one of the tallest office buildings in the city and located next to the old BMO building.
BMO leaders said around 600 employees will work out of the tower. It has several features including touchless elevators, a new ventilation system and spread out workspaces.
“[It's a space] Where everybody can work collaboratively together, and frankly, to have this in the midst of COVID, where people can feel safe coming into a brand new building with state of the art everything,” BMO Financial Group U.S. CEO David Casper said.
The company said many employees are working from home but precautions are being taken for those coming into the building including extensive cleaning.
