Restaurant workers speak on local efforts to raise minimum wage

MILWAUKEE -- The debate over Wisconsin's minimum wage carries on as several Wisconsin democrats are sponsoring a bill that would gradually raise the state's minimum wage to $10.10 an hour and index it to inflation.

Supporters argue $7.25 an hour isn't enough to survive on while opponents of the bill say minimum wage jobs should only be used as a stepping stone to a better position.

The proposed bill would immediately increase minimum wage to $8.20 per hour, and reach $10.10 in two years.

CBS 58's Matt Doyle has more on the debate, including workers at Pegasus Restaurant in Milwaukee who say although menu prices have gone up recently, their pay has remained the same.
