Reports say Governor Walker might have filed paperwork for presidential run

There are reports that Governor Scott Walker might have filed paperwork for a presidential run.

The reports came from a Pro-Walker group on the east coast.

A federal elections commission spokesperson said Walker's name appears in the database because a Virginia-based group called \"Draft Scott Walker\" filed the paperwork.

The FEC and Walker's camp said he had no involvement.

Walker has said he'll announce whether he's running for president after the state budget is in place.

Even though Walker hasn't officially declared, he's still in second place in recent polls behind Dr. Ben Carson.

Still, many political pundits said it's not a matter of \"if\" but rather \"when\" Walker will announce.

Over the weekend, John Roberts with Fox News said that would likely happen sometime in the second weekend of July.

If Walker does jump into the ring it would be in a muddled field of candidates.

A dozen Republicans have already announced their candidacy. Most recently former Florida Governor Jeb Bush on Monday. Business tycoon, Donald Trump announced yesterday.

All the while this news has been going on, Governor Walker has been posting pictures on his Twitter account during his travels around Canada.

Walker has made stops in Montreal, Quebec and the Canadian Capital of Ottawa during six-day trip, reportedly working to develop more trade for Wisconsin and for talks about transporting crude oil through the state.
