Racine police investigate attempted homicide after two people are stabbed

Racine police said that officers responded to Jackson Street near Douglass Ave around 6:00am Sunday for a possible cutting incident.

Officers found two victims, a man and a woman, who were both seriously injured.

Both victims were taken to Wheaten Franciscan Hospital. The female victim is being treated for potentially life threatening injuries.

Police said that no additional information is available at this time and that this incident remains under active investigation.
